Fees Explained With Pricing at Every Tier
Our pricing is designed to align incentives, not to push cases into premature settlements or abandon them when they become difficult. We only get paid when compensation is actually recovered, and our fee reflects how far a claim needs to go to reach that outcome.
This article explains how pricing works at each stage of the process and why it is structured this way.
Why pricing is outcome based
Claim Catalyst operates on a no upfront cost model. Customers do not pay to submit a claim, validate eligibility, or attempt resolution with the airline.
Our fee is taken only from money that is actually recovered. It is a share of the outcome, not a charge for participation. This ensures our incentives are aligned with pursuing the strongest possible result, not the fastest one.

Base handling and airline resolution
When a claim is resolved directly with the airline, our fee is 20 percent.
This covers intake, validation, evidence preparation, airline engagement, and follow up. The fee is calculated from the recovered amount after any necessary expenses are recouped. It is not a percentage of gross revenue, but a percentage of the net recovery.

Escalation and regulatory involvement
If an airline rejects, ignores, or delays a valid claim, escalation may be required. This involves formal submissions, regulatory procedures, and sustained follow up.
When a claim requires escalation to a regulatory or dispute resolution body, our fee is 35 percent.
This reflects the additional time, complexity, and effort involved. As with all tiers, expenses are recouped first, and the fee applies to the remaining recovered amount.

Litigation level pricing
Litigation is pursued only when a claim remains strong and other avenues have been exhausted.
If a claim proceeds to litigation, our fee is 50 percent.
This tier reflects the significant increase in work, risk, and resource commitment involved in court proceedings. Any case related expenses are recouped first, and the fee is applied to the net recovery.

Why this structure benefits customers
This tiered pricing model ensures that claims are not abandoned simply because they require more work.
Customers are not pushed into early settlements that leave compensation on the table. If a claim is worth pursuing further, our pricing structure supports doing so.

Transparency and expectations
Customers know from the beginning how pricing works and how it changes as a claim progresses. There are no surprise fees and no upfront charges.
If no compensation is recovered, no fee is charged.

Our commitment
Our pricing reflects the work required to pursue compensation properly. Airline engagement, escalation, and litigation are treated as parts of a single process.
We are paid only when results are achieved, and our incentives are aligned with maximizing the compensation customers are entitled to receive.
